Notice of Preliminary Decision to Issue an Authority to Construct Permit to Amend Permit to Operate for Aggregate Products, Inc. to Extend Non-Nox Air Polluant Source Testing Interval on the Hot Mix Asphalt Plants Located in Salton City and Calexico
Pursuant to Rule 206, of Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD) Rules and Regulations, the Air Pollution Control Officer (APCO) has made a preliminary decision to issue Aggregate Products Inc., an Authority to Construct Permit to amend Permit to Operate (PTO) No. 1836D-4 and No. 3758A-1, to extend the non-NOx air pollutant emissions testing interval from a 12 month to a 36-month cycle. The request is being proposed at the company's existing hot mix asphalt plants in Salton City (Air District Permit No. 1836) and Calexico (Air District Permit No. 3758). Authority to Construct Permit No. 1836D-4 and No. 3758A-1 will include conditions to ensure that all ICAPCD requirements will be satisfied.
The Public has an opportunity to submit comments on the above permit review. Written comments regarding the proposed decision will be received by the ICAPCD for a period of thirty (30) days, after publication of this notice. The closing date for the submission of comments will be July 31, 2018. The application and supporting documentation may be examined at the Air Pollution Control District, 150 South Ninth Street, El Centro, CA 92243.
