As the lead agency for the State of California under the California
Administration Code, Chapter 6.7 California Code of Regulations,
Title 23 Water, Chapter 16 Underground Tank Regulations, Article
2 General Provisions, the Inperial County Planning/Building
Department implements the regulations within both the incorporated
areas and the unincorporated areas of the County through the
issuance of Underground Storage Tank Permits, Operational Permits
to the owners as well as performing annual compliance checks.
