Notice of Preliminary Decision by the Imperial County APCD to Issue Six Authority to Construct Permits with Reduced Operating Schedules to Cal Energy Operating Company
Pursuant to Rule 206, of Imperial County Air Pollution Control Distict (ICAPCD) Rules and Regulation, the Air Pollution Control Officer (APCO) has made a preliminary decision to issue six (6) Authority to Construct (ATC) Permits with reduced operating schedules to Cal Energy Operating Company located at 7030 Gentry Road, Calipatria, CA for the operation of six (6) internal combustion engines. The project will operate six (6) currently permitted portable water pumps with a reduced operating schedule. Authority to Construct Permits No. 4409, No. 4410, No. 4428, No. 4429, No. 4430, and No 4520 will include conditions to ensure that all ICAPCD requirements will be satisfied.
The public has an opportunity to submit comments regarding this proposed decision to the ICAPCD. Written comments will be received by the ICAPCD for a period of thirty (30) days after publication of this notice. The closing date for comments will be Friday, February 23, 2018. The application and supporting documentation may be examined at the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District Office, located at 150 South Ninth Street, El Centro, CA 92243.
