Imperial County Environmental Evaluation Committee Meeting

Pursuant to the requirements of the CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) and the County's "RULES AND REGULATIONS TO IMPLEMENT CEQA, AS AMENDED" the Imperial County Environmental Evaluation Committee will meet on April 27, 2017 at 1:30pm in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 940 Main Street, El Centro, to review the below-mentioned project(s):

Assessment #16-0010: Applicant: Hell's Kitchen Geothermal, LLC., has submitted an Geothermal Permit #16-0001 proposing to construct up to four (4) well pads for up to six (6) geothermal exploratory wells on a total of 1,881 acres, to the Southeast of Mullet Island, and adjacent to the Salton Sea on lands leased from the Imperial Irrigation District to determine the viability of the geothermal resource for a possible future geothermal power plant on property legally described as Sections 3, 10 and 11, Township 11 South, Range 13 East , SBB&M. Assessment #17-0009: Applicant: Imperial County/Winterhaven Public Safety Facility, is proposing to construct an approximately 9,603 square feet, pre-engineered metal building, Townsite of Winterhaven, California, within the Winterhaven Urban Area Plan, zoned C-2 (General Commercial) Zone, on property legally described as Lot B, Block 10, Portion of Section 27, Township 16 South, Range 22 East, SBB&M. (518 Railroad Avenue, Winterhaven, CA), (Supervisorial District #1), [Richard Cabanilla, Planner IV at (442) 265-1736, extension 1750 or by email at richardcabanilla@co.imperial.ca.us].
