The southwest corner of Imperial County might see winds up to 30 mph with gusts reaching 40 mph. The precipitation in the San Diego area looks like it won't make it over the mountains.
SYNOPSIS FROM THE SAN DIEGO OFFICE
A low pressure system moving through California and off the coast of Southern California will bring cooler weather through Tuesday along with occasional periods of mostly light showers. Additional showers are possible on Wednesday into early Thursday as the low pressure system moves inland. Warmer and dry weather will follow
for Friday and Saturday with periods of weak to moderate offshore flow with gusty northeast winds near the coastal foothills. For early next week another low pressure system moving southward through the western states could bring more cooling and shower chances.
SYNOPSIS FROM THE PHOENIX OFFICE
A weather system approaching from the northwest will lead to a chance of showers by late this morning and continuing through the daytime Tuesday mainly over south-central Arizona. The system will temporarily drift offshore before moving inland again Wednesday for a return of rain chances which peak Wednesday evening. A follow on system may keep lingering rain chances going into Friday. There will be some day to day temperatures
variations, but temperatures will overall be near normals.
