|High wind levels have the potential to suspend particulate matter into the air. High levels of PM10 may pose an impact to public health. It is recommended that active children and adults, and people with respiratory disease, such as asthma, limit their outdoor activities.
Potential increases in PM10 concentrations may increase to moderate or unhealthy level.
|Imperial County Weather Synopsis|
Very dry weather will continue this coming week, with brisk offshore winds mainly in the foothills through Wednesday. Slightly higher humidity Thursday through Saturday, winds will be light. Offshore flow redevelops Sunday into Monday, for dry weather again along with brisk offshore winds mainly in the foothills. A higher than average fire danger will persist as fuels and air remain very dry, but critical fire weather conditions are not expected.
Expect light and variable to westerly winds this morning to become mostly northerly by mid to late morning. Clear skies with passing high clouds overhead.
SYNOPSIS FROM THE SAN DIEGO OFFICE
High pressure aloft and weak offshore flow at the surface will continue warm dry weather into next week. Brisk offshore winds will occur mainly in the foothills during most nights and mornings. Skies will be mostly clear.

SYNOPSIS FROM THE PHOENIX OFFICE
High pressure across the western United States will result in dry and quiet weather through the weekend. Temperatures will be well above average for this time of year with highs in the middle and upper 70s across the lower deserts through Friday and generally in the lower 70s this weekend. Mostly clear skies with varying amounts of high clouds.
