The Air District DOES NOT forecast but solely compiles information from both the Phoenix and San Diego National Weather Offices to relay information concerning potential changes in ambient air concentrations that may impact the public.

|High wind levels have the potential to suspend particulate matter into the air. High levels of PM10 may pose an impact to public health. It is recommended that active children and adults, and people with respiratory disease, such as asthma, limit their outdoor activities.
Potential increases in PM10 concentrations may increase to moderate or unhealthy level.

|SYNOPSIS FROM THE SAN DIEGO OFFICE
Isolated to scattered showers will linger over some areas west of the mountains through this morning. Otherwise, gradually clearing weather is expected today with areas of gusty winds in the mountains and deserts. Fair weather will continue through Friday. A weak trough of low pressure could bring a few showers Saturday. Another trough on Monday will bring some strong winds in the mountains and deserts, and could bring a few showers. Temperatures will average a little below normal through early next week.
Added showers to coastal and valley locations of San Diego County, as well as the foothills of the San Bernardino County mountains with this update. The HRRR shows showers decreasing by late morning, with a few heavier showers developing over inland San Diego County. The rest of the forecast remains on track.
SYNOPSIS FROM THE PHOENIX OFFICE
A strong low pressure system will continue to move through the region today, exiting Arizona later tonight. Shower activity today will develop mainly from Phoenix eastward. High pressure will build back into the region Friday, however another Pacific disturbance will move into the region Saturday. The Saturday system will remain dry, but a larger and colder weather system next Tuesday and Wednesday may bring another period of showers.
