Be Advised
High wind levels have the potential to suspend particulate matter into the air. High levels of PM10 may pose an impact to public health. It is recommended that active children and adults, and people with respiratory disease, such as asthma, limit their outdoor activities.

Potential increases in PM10 concentrations may increase to moderate or unhealthy level.

An upper level disturbance moving southeastward through the Great Basin this afternoon will bring strong onshore flow with gusty west winds in the mountains and deserts and also bring a chance of showers to San Diego County this afternoon and evening. Gusty northeast winds will follow near the coastal foothills late tonight into Tuesday...weakening Wednesday. It will be warmer Tuesday. A cold low pressure system will develop late in the week over the southwest United States and northwest Mexico with coolest weather around Friday and possible strong gusty northeast winds Friday through Saturday. Some daytime warming will occur over the weekend, but the nights will remain chilly

SYNOPSIS FROM THE PHOENIX OFFICE
A weak weather disturbance moving into south central AZ from the northwest will bring increasing clouds and a slight chance of showers this evening from Phoenix eastward. Clear skies will return to the region Tuesday through Thursday. However, the combination of these clear skies and cold air aloft will allow temperatures to fall below freezing at many lower elevation locations across southern Gila County for the 1st time this season. Another weather system is forecast to move into the region Friday, however this disturbance will be relatively dry, with only a slight chance of showers from Phoenix eastward. Clear skies will return this weekend
