FUGITIVE DUST MITIGATION PLAN
In keeping with the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District's mission to protect the public health and consistent with the principles of the Clean Air Act the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District has prepared a High Wind Exceptional Event Fugitive Dust Mitigation Plan (Mitigation Plan).
The intent of the Mitigation Plan is to help address historically documented and known seasonal high wind events by identifying notification and procedural processes to warn and advise the public of the effects of elevated particulates.
The public is encouraged to review the Final Mitigation Plan and provide recommendations and/or comments for future revisions. The Imperial County Air Pollution Control District intends to continually review and update the Mitigation Plan every three years. All comments should be mailed to the address located below, attention Monica N. Soucier.
A hard copy of the Final Mitigation Plan is available for review at the ICAPCD office located at 150 S 9th Street, El Centro, Ca 92243.
